Upon arrival at hotel (Rembrandt Hotel in Sukhimvit area of Bangkok), we immediately fall into a late-night Thai supper. Shoveling tasty Thai specialties (how do they get that perfect combination of spicy, salty, sour and sweet?) as we scan our maps and guidebooks, with a cold Thai Chang beer to wash it down, we could not be more content on our first night in this gritty city.
